I’ve been acting for as long as I can remember. I started probably around 3rd grade, performing in musicals for the local church at which I stayed after school until 6th grade. My junior high didn’t have a theater program, so it wasn’t until high school that I joined the speech team (which my coach wants you to know I did well in) and discovered my love for performing and the stage.

I only performed in five shows throughout my high school career, which might sound like a lot, but really isn’t compared to the other people involved in the program and the fact that our school put on four (sometimes five) shows per school year.

College has opened up a new world for me, especially in terms of theater. I was fortunate enough to be a part of two mainstage shows at my school, and I’ve loved every second of it.

I cannot explain why I love theater, and I’m cool with that. I think the best things are sometimes better left unsolved.

These are the roles I’ve played (from freshman year of high school until present day):

St. Peter- The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

Angel- Leap of Faith: The Musical

Jimmy- Almost, Maine

Grandfather/Reverend Griffin- Lizzie Bright & The Buckminster Boy

Jedadiah Schultz/Father Roger Schmit- Laramie Project

Orsino- Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night

Orpheus- Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice
